Kimy recently had 4 wisdom teeth extracted and a small incision made on the roof of her mouth to expose an adult tooth. She insisted on NOT having any pictures taken...so I took this one after we got home from the surgery, while she was sleeping. We returned to the Surgeons office today for a follow-up and he said that everything looked great. He was very impressed how well her mouth was heeling and how good it looked. He also said it would be 7-10 more days until her pain was gone to point of being able to enjoy solid foods again. She is going crazy with the liquid diet and has already planned to celebrate by consuming an 'Ultimate cheese burger' and large curly fries from Jack-In-the-Box.
Braces are much closer now and will be her next step. Kimy is counting down the days to close the gap on her two front teeth!

My thoughts are with you Kimy! I remember that surgery all too well. Liquid diets really are awful. Hoping the cheeseburger is soon>
