Even though I am behind a few months with posting events and activities we have been up to, I wanted to post about Kimy & Karston going to Nationals in Latin. As you may recall, they both placed 1st at State in their categories and thus qualified to attend Nationals last week in Kentucky. They were gone for 1 week and just returned Sunday. They had a lot of fun and watched about 25 hours of movies - long bus ride!
Now for the results:
- Kimy placed 2nd in her category! She also entered a new one last minute and just for fun - Site Recitation. She placed 5th in that category!
- KC was attending as a freshman and his first time competing at Nationals; he placed 2nd in his category too!!! He also ran a 5k while there and placed 4th overall!
We are so very proud of these two amazing kids and thank Heaven above for the privilege to be their parents! They teach us alot : ) We missed them and are happy to have them home! Blessing to you all!
