Kimy has really excelled in Latin this year. She has been enjoying Latin club much more the past few months. She recently competed at Area in Latin oratory where she achieved 1st place!!! From there, she was able to compete with the rest of the Latin club in Austin (Above: getting off the bus at midnight) for the State Championship. They went up Friday and stayed overnight, competing on Saturday. She placed 1st in her division in STATE!!! She was also given a perfect score by the judges!!! WAY TO GO KIMY!!! We are so proud of you and your accomplishments! The rest of the club also did amazing too, sweeping STATE for the 4th year in a row - Way to go Health Career's on taking State in Latin and congratulations Mr. Lehmann for being such an incredible teacher!!!
