A different kind of Vacation in Utah

Aunt Amber & Uncle Chad sent flowers - such a thoughtful gift for Kimy & G pa Hansen

Thank goodness Kimy was able to move around pretty well after her accident. Her and Gpa Hansen were two peas in a pod. Lucky for us G pa Hansen had a walker and other assisted living accomodations at home, it made things a little easier for Kimy to get around. Her clam shell brace dubded the 'turtle shell' allowed her to get out and do some things - like go to G pa & G ma Hansen's condo at Bear Lake (Thank you very much Ed & Cyndy). We went up just our family for a few days and really had a great time! The shakes & onion rings at LaBeau's Drive-In were just too much for one visit...we had to try it again, just to make sure we were not dreaming the first time - another craving to add to my list! It was really nice to see Uncle Derek, Uncle Eddie, Dan, Ving Von & Ben at Bear Lake as well; we miss seeing them. So, we had a much different than expected vacation. We made the best of it and counted our many blessings!

G pa's "grabber" really came in handy!

We especially enjoyed spending time at the beach at Bear Lake! Building things is an all day event that I have traditionally done with each of the kids since they were little. Above, Brayden in his Porche 911 Carrera

We especially enjoyed eating every meal on the deck! What a view!

Enjoying the food at LaBeau's!
